Angie~ I wanted to thank you for everything you do as a fitness teacher. It has really changed the way I think about exercise. I had tried a lot of different work outs before Zumba, and I never stuck with any of them. I would just get bored with it and I would quit. The problem was that I just hated to workout. To me, there was nothing fun about exercise. I couldn't even imagine being one of those people who said they liked or needed to work out. Now, I barely miss a class. And the only reason I keep coming back every week is because you make class so much fun. I actually look forward to exercising and |

hate missing a class because I can tell such a difference in how I feel when I don't go. You're the most phenomenal teacher I have ever seen! Coming to class leaves me feeling better about myself and my body, and I have energy I didn't think I could have. Honestly, your classes have made such a difference in my life! Thank you so much! ~Allison E. in Charlotte, NC |

Well, what do I say about Angie? She’s Fabulous!!! I attended my first ANGIE class in January 2007. When I first got to class I thought to myself, “What is wrong with this girl?”. She was literally bouncing her way through class. She was singing ALL THE LYRICS, swinging her hair, and letting out an occasional “WHHOOOO!!!” I was in the back |

of the class trying to act reserved (and I’m so not), I couldn’t fight it. I LOVED IT. Eventually, as time went on, I found myself in the FRONT of the class (and I would look at someone funny if there were in MY SPOT), and I too was singing (even the Spanish songs, and I don’t speak Spanish) and too swinging my hair. It was so liberating. ANGIE’s classes are so liberating. She encourages individuality, and that is awesome. And after attending a year of Zumba, my moves are so tight. I’ve even gone to the salsa clubs to do my thang. Hehe….. A few of my favorite ANGIE dances are Lose Control, Mas Que Nada, Toxic, Beautiful Liar, Tambourine, Shake your pear, Fuego, and ….. so many more. She has wonderful taste in music and the girl is HOT. ANGIE is absolutely the best Zumba instructor in Charlotte. The Universe will bless her for looking out for us. |

Angela is my sister so my opinion may seem a little biased (probably a lot biased)...but my sister's Zumba classes are one of the best things to come about in my life. I have always wanted to stay fit, but treadmills and elliptical machines make me want to throw up!!! I have always loved dancing and music, but never felt I had the coordination to do any kind of organized dancing. Angie's classes take my love of dancing and music and my love of staying fit and roll it all into one unbelievable PARTY!! I can think of few things that make me feel better physically or mentally than dancing for an hour with the most fun, enthusiastic and inspirational fitness leaders there ever was...Angie Acosta. I love you, Ang. I am so proud of you. |

I have my Dear Friend Charlotte P. to thank for introducing me to Zumba and Angie. Started in April 2007, a month after I lost my Mom. I can’t say enough about Angie. She is the most energetic person I know. She makes you feel good about yourself. With the routines that she presents at her classes and the music is out of this world!!!!!!!!!!!! The classes are like going to a Dance. You can just get down and do your thing. And to have someone leading you that has the most vividly appearance, it makes you want to keep coming back. Love it and wish I could go every night. Angie is my “Dancing Idol”. Love You Angie!!!!!! |

I also have to say that Rayleen (My baby girl of 5) She loves you and enjoys that class as much as I do "She said that she wants to be like you" "Excelente- Me gusta la idea" . Angie, I thank you for being a good example and motivation for her and all of us.

My neighbor, Beth, introduced me to Zumba last July. I don't like to "exercise" but I LOVE to Zumba with Angie! Zumba is a GREAT stress reducer-which helps keep me feeling young, both physically and mentally! Even my daughters (18 & 22) come with me and enjoy the class (and snickering at ol' mom). |

I think you and Lisa are so happy and enthusiastic and make the Zumba and DanceOut classes fly by. It is so much fun! Thanks for a fun and uplifting class! |

Real men don’t work out, they DanceOut! Your Zumba and DanceOut classes develop more coordination, muscle tone, and balance than running, and my wife and I have a blast doing it together. You’re a great teacher and the classes are more like a party than a workout. While we won’t audition for “So You Think You Can Dance”, we’re definitely ready for the next wedding reception! Everybody has welcomed me to class, but we just need more men to join!!!!! |
